Anker Astro 3E, Portable Android Battery Pack review

I've a Nexus 4 at the moment and will soon have a Nexus 5. Neither have a replaceble battery so I went looking for a 'solution' and came cross the Anker Astro 3E. Said I'd post a quick review as I haven't seen it mentioned here.

Basically it's just a big portable battery. It's kinda heavy but that doesn't bother me. Takes aggggggges to charge but once it does, it holds about 4 full Nexus 4 charges. You can charge 2 USB devices at same time but they're both half as quick then. Comes with USB cable and 2 adapters, one to MicroUSB for Android and one to the old iPhone 4 connection. Maybe the new Astro has an adapter for lighting cable, not sure.

Anway, this is well handy for bus journeys. Can watch stuff with phone plugged in and not worry about having no battery once I reach Dublin.

It's on Amazon and works out at about €30.

I have purchased a large no of anker car chargers for work. Premium feeling but well priced. Only one failure out of 60 chargers aswell
