16.40 Southwell! Gogeo!

    Just noticed that the above horse mentioned "gogeo" ran yesterday in a bumper and won. It's running again today, is this type of thing a normal occurrence and whats the logic behind it! Thanks!

    The bumper he won was an All Weather one. So although it was classed as a bumper, you could nearly call it an extended flat race. Its quite common for runners on the flat to run twice in the space of 24 hours, though not over a range of distances 18f down to 11f. Sometimes horses are run quickly over a few days in multiple races in order to bag a few wins before the handicapper can reassess their official rating.

    Thanks bumper for the info, turned out to be a non runner after all, maybe they had no intention of running him today!
