    Hi,

I have a Samsung galaxy mini 2 running android 2.3.6

Everytime since this evening I've tried to access boards on the mobile (touch or main site) I get the following message:
    Access Denied (policy_denied)
Your system policy has denied access to the requested URL
For assistance, contact your network support team.

Anyone know why this is or how to fix it?

I've tried google, but it's only giving me answers about windows.

I'm getting 'server cannot be found' on my iPhone.

Is it a bigger problem ?

Go into settings and then wifi then change your DNS to 208.67.222.222

You should tell peeps that is Open DNS.....

which may, or may not, be better than the DNS provided by your ISP.

These two people could be on any network, so it is advisable to let them know exactly what they are doing.

And, it might be instructive to read about Open DNS and privacy, your privacy....

Usually, your own provider DNS settings are OK, unless they are under attack by hackers, not unknown......

    Google also provide Public DNS:

Configure your network settings to use the IP addresses 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 as your DNS servers.....

and we know Google do no Evil ;)

I don't think it was dns, this is the second thread here about it this evening and it also wasn't working for me. The dns was resolving but the page was 404ing, for those using OpenDns it would show a search page

Having this problem last night on a galaxy s4 using Chrome. Just said chrome couldn't find touch.boards.ie

But when I request that it opens in the desktop version it works perfect (on my phone writing this). So I'm guessing it's just the touch site that's the problem.
