Passat Battery

    Hi there,

    Recently bought a VW Passat 2008 1.4TSI.

    The car started fine leaving the garage and again started once or twice after this.

    The next morning I went to unlock the car with the fob and wouldn't open, tried the spare fob and no joy.
    Anyway, got into the car using the physcal key, battery was completely dead. Got a jump and car started perfect, again gave it a good spin, was started up a couple of times throughout the day...next morning car was started to be moved a few yards and started fine. Approx 8 hours later, tried to open the car and again no joy.
    I initially thought I may have left something on in the car the first time it went dead but now i'm having second thoughts.

    Any ideas as to what this might be? Faulty battery, fuse? Anybody have a similar situation with a Passat or VW for that matter?
