Have a big plastic box/tub with about 5-8 plastic gallon containers full(some partially) of waste engine oil .Anywhere /one I can get shut of for free?Near Lucan /Leixlip .
Does Ballymount charge for oil disposal only? Then I have to take containers home right?

They take waste oil in Ballymount. You can put the containers into the recycling bins there too. Doesn't look like they charge for disposing of the oil either.

Note that some places will frown on bringing too much in one go as they might suspect you're a mech trying to get rid of oil free.

Better to take it for free than have it poured down the drain.

Same here .He said I should take it more regularlly and not let it build up to the 'commercial quantity' (9 or 10 one gallon plastic cans) I had .

Put them on adverts.ie, someone will gladly take them for a waste oil burner.
