Great car (have an 09 identical to that one for sale as it happens)
Not as fast as it looks.
Very reliable car. Interior is the biggest criticism they get. Bit Japanese.
Good enough economy, very good safety and reliability is very good on them.
Wouldn't be worried about the big wheels, they're still comfortable even on 18s.

    Thanks.
Sound good, yes the interior is a bit of a let down.
Is servicing expensive and any known issues?

No real issues with them tbh and servicing is cheap.

That particular car seems a tad bit expensive to me given it's 4 years old and petrol. There are 2011 1.8 DiD diesel Lancers on carzone for nearly the same money, yes they don't have the nice skirts and spoilers but are those things worth anywhere near that asking price?

    Eg:

    Thanks good point.

I suppose I am being lured in by the sporty
finish. I like cars that are head turners and you don't see many Lancers on the road.
I want something with this kind of finish, originally looked the astra opc but tax too high and there are already 2 in the estate where I live and the Megane Gt line was a bit out of my price range.
I want to go through a dealer as I have to trade in my car against it. My budget is 15k including my own. Any suggestions?

Impreza diesel. Ugly as sin but it has a bonnet scoop and big wheels.

Mazda 6 would be a nice alternative.

    Very striking imo.
