Minimum distance from the road a house can be built in Co. Donegal

Hi I am starting to look into building a house and one of the queries I have is what is the minimum distance from the road that I can legally build my house. I am guessing it differs according to what type of road it is. The road in question here is an "L" road. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks :)
