Why is colm Hayes off air for so long ?

Colm Hayes was taken off air abruptly 5 weeks ago and apparently wont be starting his drive show until march. Are rte still paying him his rather bloated salary during this long absence?

I would imagine he is still being paid alright.

Not a fan of his I must say. Wonder how he will get on with a drive time slot. Its a tough one.
