Car had a tip on the side which set off the air bag, before I start to try repair car will I need to replace the sensor which triggers the air bag to go off? If so where is it located? Im hoping its just a matter of replacing airbag and having ecu reset but whats the chances?

    Cheers

It all depends on the car in question.
