    hi,

for a work project, I need to setup a laltop (secure cabinet) with a touch screen monitor (23") attached.

Is it possible to use a windows 8 theme (boxes with quick links) and then lock out this screen using Kiosk software.
So folks can hit a box and goto info-A, return to the main screen and then goto info-B, whilst the main OS is locked out.

    Thanks

    K

You can use Assigned Access to enable a sort of Kiosk mode, as long as everything the users need to do can be achieved within one application (eg a web browser with whitelisted sites/bookmarked local content). See here for instructions on how to set it up.
