    How have these stations not gone free to air?

    I dont care about their sky epg deals ETC,Even an idiot would know these channels would only grow if they went FTA,

    Is there any news on any of these channels going FTA?,I have been waiting four years now... :(

    It seems they are badly run,As they are not being used to their full potential,FFS eurosport could be the biggest sports channel in the uk and ireland if they were willing to take a risk or two...

    You might not care about their Sky Epg deals, but they most certainly do, that's their bread and butter income, worth more than advertising and a lot more stable income. That's why your wait for these channels to go fta, will continue.

    Like it or not, Sky has 10 million subscribers and a listing on the Sky EPG is still one of a channels most valuable marketing tools. Eurosport were free to air for nearly a decade before they went on Sky Digital - that included a period when they were actually part-owned by Sky! Although use of free to air receivers has gone up substantially in the last few years, most people prefer the simplicity of an EPG.
