overpayment of money I owed the sw

I was on the btwes and went back to job seekers as it didn't work out in the switch over I was over payed by six days so they were taking 28 Euros out of my benefits,so after six months I ring them up to see how much I owe them ,and to my great surprise I'm am told they owe me a money . has this happened to any body else,
