Rough cost of work on 99 Toyota Celica

Looking for a rough estimate of work before approaching mechanic to do it for me....

'99 celica, 1.8, rubbing noise from back left wheel, I'm imagining bearings or something small like that. Anybody have any idea what the rough cost would be to have done (independant garage as opposed to main dealer)

    Cheers,

Impossible to offer rough quote as it not known what issue is.

How about you get a mech to have a look, and then come back and check if quote is reasonable?
It could be something small like a stone in the caliper or something big.
