Firebird service

Can anyone advise on how much it costs for a firebird service. It's also not working so whatever part is faulty will also need replacing. It ran out of oil, I bled it and got it coming through, then when I ran it, it no longer locked out , instead it just purred away and made no attempt to fire up. Left it overnight because sometimes it just resets itself, but still no luck. I even cleaned the photocell. All the things I can do myself I've done so no choice but to call the pro's! Any idea of cost, excluding any replacement part?

A basic service is usually between €80-120

A proper professional (qualified, regestered, gauranteed, insured) service also costs between €80-120

Don't sell yourself short Dec mate.
Even if you only charge €19-79 !!

Well, I called firebird and they gave the no. of a fella. He came and replaced the photocell, congratulated me on successfully bleeding the oil and great troubleshooting :) My husband is not very technically minded and I love the ole problem solving myself so all is well, job done and it only cost me €75 including the new photocell. Happy and warm. Thanks for your help all.

Did you get an electronic print out of boiler emissions, oxygen %, carbon dioxide %, carbon monoxide levels, it'll look like a printout from a cash regester ?

    If NO
Then you only got a repair rather than a repair, service, efficiency setting useing combustion analyzer.

There is a major difference. Especially on oil consumption.

What you pay for is what you get.

Not trying to knock it. But did you get a receipt which means your repair is at least covered by public liability insurance.

I'm curious more than anything. Thanks
