Just curious as I've no idea. Do people farm cattle with no land/grass just a shed? I don't mean specifically here, just in general? Is there any ventures exist that begin with buying cattle, put them in sheds, buy fodder and cattle stay there till sold/factory? Just wondering. Cheers

A lad down near me does it. Rents a shed the last 20 years buys fodder in. Hes mad for classy looking animals and drives um on heavy with ration. Small scale tho. More of a hobby for him. Although he will tell you hes doing great outta it. Lying baxtard......

Hes leaves it off in his brothers place id say. Hes bound to be making a loss. He might have 8 r 10 cows that he calves himself. He would buy the odd exceptional calf here and there. Pump um full of nuts and sell as weanlings.
All wud b sold as weanlings.
Spose tis just his gra that he has for um.
    Expensive hobby id say.
