My dog has to go in for xrays tomorrow and she has to go in fasting for the anesthetic but can she have a drink in the drink in the morning? Obviously no food, just water? I can't remember! Thanks

Yes, but not bucket loads, just a tiny bit

I would say no because the anaesthetic makes them get sick so you don't want anything in their stomach.

Usually the advise given is withdraw food from 6 and leave water overnight so generally it's okay once they don't drink a load!

Got our fella neutered the other day and was told exactly that. No food from midnight, but leave his water out for him as usual.
