    The carbon Cube Agree GTC Pros from 2013 are going at that price if you can find one in your size. Great spec.

    If you decide not to go carbon, you can get a full ultegra Giant Defy 0 for that price also.

    It's a nice wad of cash to spend on a bike, it opens up a world of possibilities. I'm sure plenty around here will enjoy spending it for you! Just spent something similar myself! Enjoy!

    Yep I'm in the same boat I have been looking at all the options for the past few months, Time for me Old Saracen Pro Tour bike to hang up its wheels and have decided on the Cube Agree Gtc Race from O Mahony Cycles in Dungarvan almost full Ultegra bar the chain.
    I was also looking at the Sl pro carbon from Planet X but on the BTW with them you have pay it all up front and they will reimburse you when they get paid from your employer.
    Also I like the whole setup with Cube who are a young company driven by a love of cycling proving quality bikes at affordable prices. There are quite a few bikes around at this price but most will have a 105/Tiagra setup so I think the Cube is great value but that's just my two cents!!

    I have the 2013 Peleton Race and love it. Thoroughly recommended.
    I only paid €954 for it so perhaps you can get a better specced bike for €1300?
    Keep looking!

    But Planet X is still run by riders, for riders, offering class-leading products at an unbeatable price. And they are incredibly passionate about bikes and love riding, all their staff ride

    If you don't believe me, check out their website.

    I have the peleton race 2013. Great bike, I love it. Only real issue is the Easton wheels it came with. Very poor wheels, loose spokes after every ride. I replaced with zondas this week. 2014 bike I think has mavic wheels. 2013 bikes being sold off for under the €1000 mark now if you can find one, but I would be cautious of above wheels.

    I don't disagree about Planet X at all very good company I was looking at them first but this is the exact email I got;

    Hi Michael,

    We can accomodate you cycle to work but you must pay upfront for this order in full and then we can refund you the cycle to work when it arrives with us.
    Some inportant info on cycle to work below.

    Ordering and Cycle to work important information;

    Please find attached your cycle to work quote. Please note a quotation does not constitute an order and all orders are subject to availability. Please also check with your employer to see which cycle to work scheme they use. Direct company cheques, cards or transfers for full €1000.00 carry no commission but third party administration agencies that your employer may use charge a fee which is taken from your cycle to work scheme payment. Please note that we will credit you with whatever value we receive from these agencies and that they can charge anything between 8-12 % for their service on the first €1000.00 Planet X bikes work on extremely tight margins to offer you the best possible value and do not account for these fees in our prices.
