Oak doors & skirting....what floors??

Advice needed! We are currently at 2nd fix carpentry stage of new build. Going for oak shaker doors, skirting & architrave. Going with laminate floors and had originally decided on a bleached oak (Balterio) to have a lighter colour with all the oak but now I have seen a scarlet maple that I absolutely love, butt wondering if it would be a bit much with all that oak??? Would love if someone. Who has done wooden/laminate floors with oak doors & skirting could help!!!! Head wrecked!!!

Thanks so much for the reply! Great you have seen it done! You didn't think it made everything a bit dark? which is my main concern! I know it's all down to personal taste in the end, I am just nervous that all that wood will make the space feel smaller and darker.

Where are you fitting it ??? is it everywhere or just 1 room

It's just living room/ sunroom & sitting room. Tiles everywhere else downstairs. Thanks so much for your help!
