Right I have a TMJ problem and I have to get an injection into it coupled with a guard/splint to wear at night.

The cost of the moulded guard is very expensive, the doc I'm seeing, based in Dublin, quoted me 650 Euro - is this average or would I be able to get it cheaper from someone else?

Not all night guards are made equal. Sound like your going to a specialist if you getting injections in the joint. I would stick with them to make the splint to be honest as another design night not be good for your problems. 650 is about right for a proper splint from a specialist.

    Thank you for your reply...

Yeah it is a specialist I'm seeing and I'm very happy with him. If 650 sounds about right I'll just have to dig deep

Should I put off getting impressions done until I get my teeth completely checked in case I need any work like fillings done (I dont think I do) cause this will change how my teeth line up?
