Powakaddy freeway 11 speed problem. When my trolley is turned up to 9 on the controller I'm still walking passed it. It's only going 4.4 mph on the display on full 9 setting. Battery is working fine. Full power on display and checked with volt meter.

Does it regularly do this or was it only once? Was the course very wet?

Take it to www.caddycare.ie near Shankill and get it serviced.

or the chap in Portarlington, who I have to say is fantastic, he turned my (useless) Powakaddy Freeway with the push button controller in to the Freeway with the twirly knob all for €70 - genius, the chap in Shankill said it couldn't be done!

I've that model, mine did similar as the 1st battery was knackered.
Changed it and never did anything like that again.
You "sure" it's not the battery?

I hope it's not the battery. I put the volt meter on it and it's 14.5 volts. How fast does yours go on 9. Mine only goes 4.4 mph and I'm walking passed it. To be honest I was expecting to running after it at 9 setting. I put the power straight to the motor and the wheel spin twice as fast so I know it can go faster. Wrecking my head. Thought there might be an easy fix

To be honest I wouldn't have known it measures speed, I walk quite fast and mine goes great between 5-7 depending on the load or gradient or whatever.
You'd never need to use 9 even climbing the steepest dunes in my experience. As you said I'd be running after it and it set at 9.

One other thing, as my other batt was dying the batt meter could tell you that it was full, then it might randomly bounce you on to 0 on the speed scale. To me that is def a battery issue if it's at that.

Battery levels only dropped bye one on the display on a full day of golf and the speed kept at the same speed all day

Is that model definitely spec'ed for a lithium battery ?. If it was originally lead-acid, then the lithium might not be correct.
