    Hi all,

As most of you may know, or have heard of Rozabeez, she was taken from us due to methanol poisoning while teaching in Indonesia in 2011.
It's hard to believe that this was 3 years ago, but is testament that she's always around in our hearts.

Family and friends are holding a Fundraiser in Maynooth on the 29th of March and it would be wonderful if people could attend.

    Entry is €10 per person

    Quote from facebook page
We are holding a Fundraiser in memory of Roisin Burke who passed away 31/5/2011 due to methanol poisoning. All proceeds of this event will go towards A Drink To Die From and L.I.A.M - Lifesaving Initiatives Against Methanol.

The event will be held on Sat the 29th of March 2014 in the Glenroyal Hotel in Maynooth.

For this fundraiser we are holding a masquerade ball. We will have an open mic and a DJ afterwards. The theme for this ball is undecided yet, it will either be Under The Sea or Mardi Gras - other suggestions are welcome also.

Tickets for this event will be €10pp and we will also be hosting a raffle on the night.

I hope you can all make it and make this a great night for a great cause.

Such a lovely little poster and a great loss to the Boards community. Lovely to see her being remembered in such a fitting way.

I wasn't on boards that long when this news came in; it was a shock then to hear of her death; it is strange how fast time passes on here; her posts vibrated with a passion and love of life; I won't make this fundraiser and I'm not on Facebook; will there be any facility on boards through which we could make a donation?

If there is some way to donate that doesn't involve that bastard service paypal I'm open to the idea. Can't attend obviously.

As above, would like to be able to contribute in some way if someone can find out. I am not on Facebook either. Very much miss Roe.

I'm doing the Galway Cycle that weekend so can't attend. But I'll make a donation or drop in a raffle prize. Amazing girl Roisin was.

The first time I met Roz was at a Noc beers, It was my first ever beers and I went alone. She didn't know me from Adam but chatted away to me like we had been friends forever. A warm and likeable woman. Her vibe was infectious.

I miss her so much. :(

There's a girl who works near me who is the spit of her and sometimes, just for a second, I think it's Ro. She pulled me out of a pretty dark place when I was in college, and we had so many great nights out on the batter, she was a fantastic person.

Hope people can make it along to this. I'll speak to my boss and see if we can get some travel vouchers for the night.

    Hey folks,

I was speaking with one of the girls before I left for a break in Latvia.
The public wifi appeared to be blocking boards, so I couldn’t update you sooner.

If you wish to get tickets, she has given me her email address for enquiries.

<snipped mail to reduce future spam>

She's waiting on word back from the charities involved on how to donate directly.
