Wide angle Video Camer

    Not sure if this is the correct forum to ask the following. Had a look but could not find a dedicated video forum. Mods if you think there is a better place for this please move.

    Could anyone recommend a video camera with a wide angle lens with reasonable optical quality and 720p minimum capable, preferably under 300 euro. Find it very hard to get information on field of view on the majority of consumer video cameras. Zoom is also not required (but not a problem if its on the camera obliviously)

    Thanks for the reply! I looked at a pro alright but it looks to be a little too much on the fisheye side for my application.

    Im using it to video a work project in a 1.3x1.3x1.3M area. I need wide angle to retain perspective. The goPro might exaggerate it too much

    Right, if it's a normal video you're shooting, then I'd say the GoPro is out. Do you need audio? As in, hear what people are saying? Or is it all just images.

    Yeah. Audio is required. It's for internal instruction videos..

    Gopro field of view is selectable in software was ultra wide, wide, medium and narrow.

    Thanks for that, probably need to drop into a bricks and mortar to have a look at a few cameras
