    Cheaper than Sky

20 Euro for a Sky Plus/Sky Plus HD Remote Control PLUS Room Link Kit Including Delivery.
Replacing a Sky remote control can be costly, save big with this deal!
The remote control will work for a Sky+ or a Sky+ HD box.
You'll also receive a room link kit, which allows you to control your sky box from a secondary TV in the kitchen, bedroom, or wherever else you have a TV!

GrabOne were doing this for €17 about a month ago. Bought one myself then realised I couldn't use the link without running a cable through the house :(

Still, got a new remote to replace old model.

thankfully, we can all ignore your sad "T***L" opinion and form our own!
Factor in delivery, read the mostly negative reviews of the amazon one and remember that its an irish company we are buying from who accept returns....

Oh and Sky charge 30 euros, so yes IT IS A BARGAIN!

good grief, the fuss and nonsense some folk make just to be negative

It's not a silly comment at all, if something can be had cheaper it is clearly worth pointing it out for those who may be interested and would be willing to wait a little longer (depending on shipping) in return for a lower price.

So you might believe it to be a bargain from your source and maybe it is, however that doesn't change the undeniable fact that it is a better bargain from other sources.

Wrong. Almost everything can be had cheaper on ebay, its an auction site after all.
Why do people not post "cheaper on ebay" for all the TV's from argos posted on here for example?
Mainly because the majority of people know the difference between Ebay and non auction sites. Its just the dumbest comparison you can make :D

I never mentioned ebay, i simply pointed out the naivety of your criticism. Even if i had, amazon is not an auction site and its cheaper there, that was pointed out to you, which you responded to with an abusive comment -
thankfully, we can all ignore your sad "T***L" opinion and form our own!

you then say when you factor in the reviews and shipping its not worth it. Well at least there are reviews, and most of them are not negative, can you vouch for the reliability of the product in your link?

Furthermore amazon accept returns, and i've looked at the site that fulfills the order, there's no contact address or phone so it might not even be Irish, and who knows what their returns policy is like because it certainly isn't anywhere on www.giftsandgadgets.ie

And most of the TVs electrics etc.. posted here are B&M so you have the convenience of not waiting and seeing before buying. So get down off your high horse and accept that other people are allowed to say it if they don't think your link is a bargain. If you don't like that, which you seem not to, then don't post.

You can generally judge the merits of a bargain alert from the number of "thanks" that the initial post has received. In this case, since 21.30 last night there are none from the approx 800 views......

I also don't judge this as a bargain but do agree that if the op feels that it is a bargain then he has the right to post about it, but then he must also accept that people will do their own investigation of the price and might find it cheaper elsewhere, be that Ebay or Amazon and then comment on that finding here.

    D
