Water stain in plasterboard.

    Any ideas on this please...
    I have a watermark in the ceiling plasterboard. The ceiling is painted white. What can I use to treat the stain before I paint it white again.

    Zinnser cover stain oil based primer. Make sure to cover the stain and a wide margin around it incase the stain ever spreads.

    Zinnser cover stain oil based primer. Make sure to cover the stain and a wide margin around it incase the stain ever spreads.

    Yep, zinsser is the way to go alright. The shellac based bin primer find the best.
