new bull required this season, will be an easy btap task ticked.

have a choice of a few wilodge cerberus bulls that look the part.

as they are young, the icbf calving data etc is low.

Q: what are his offspring like for calving difficulty and gestation. also, would his cattle be considered quiet.

the dams breeding has good docility scores.

    cheers

Cerberus is breeding fine heifers from what I've seen at the Limousin sales. Great bone and style to them. His only downfall is his Docility figures, with only one star. To counteract this, you would like the dam to have good docility figures.
Would you not trust the ICBF data on the bulls you are buying, even with low reliability?

from keeping an eye on bulls of late, ELITE FOREVER BRILL ET wasn't long changing. paper wont refuse ink so no harm get some feedback from reality on the ground.

docility is a concern so, as i have some lets say lively cows.

There's 59 pedigree sons registered for 2013 alone, on the Limousin database.

I would always be wary of the figures of any bull that is used exclusivly on pedigree cows

Here you go. I have a son of Cerberus, that I bought last April. I know his docility figures are very poor, but I must say, this is the easiest bull to handle and manage, I ever had and I have had a few. Let's see how his offspring go. Full credit to his breeder, as I figure how a young bull is handled and managed has a big bearing on its temperment as a mature animal.

Anyway, first calf this morning form him. Off a springer I couldnt get to heep to AI. Pic attached of the calf. Heifer calf, unassisted. 288 days gestation.
