Is it brand-new or second-hand? If second-hand, it could be a worn hop-up rubber, causing the pellets just to roll out the barrel.

You sure gas is being expelled when the striker hits knocker plate?.

It is second-hand. Ok do you know here to go a replacement hop up rubber for this gun? Thanks

In Ireland, no. You could try the likes of Evike, GI, eHobby, etc..., or even try in the adverts section. EDIT: G&G produces a hop-rubber for the KJW M700.

Is the knocker plate at the back of the mag?(This is my first gas rifle!)If so when I press it in gas is being released

Even with the hop up off it should still fire not roll out. Could be a number of things:

Problem with valve knocker, bolt seal rubber, damaged nozzle, poor seals, obstructions. I have one of these and found very little problems with it.

Thats the one, that rules out the mag then, only load 8-10 rounds don't over load it, but when you chamber a round when the mag is in does the striker hit the plate?.

Mine is second hand, but will try it again tomorrow with the 3 mags, Thanks

Only loaded in about 9 rounds, and how do I check if the striker hits the plate?

    No sure I get you?.

What I mean is when you insert the mag make sure it is full of gas, make sure the bolt is back, when the mag is in push the bolt forward and fire. You should a click (obviously) and a pffffffffffft you might even see the gas exit the end of the barrel.

No, there is a click alright but no 'pfffffffft' or gas exiting the barrell.

Well therrrrrrrrres your problem I wreckons. Right take out the magazine, look inside the magwell, you should see a grey section with a black protruding thingy, this is the striker, cycle the bolt pull the trigger it should move out then back in.

Does the striker or the knocker plate look worn?. Unfortunately the M700 is a cheap version of the TANAKA works rifles and used cheap pot metal for certain parts. These parts can wear down and are a known weakpoint.

?I didn't get new mags for it, it just came with 3. But I took out the bolt and tightened the spring to increase the fps, and gas is being realeased and propelling only the first bb out of the mag(Not far), then not getting anything else except a small bit of gas outta the barrell. Could it be that I just need to put more gas in?how long shoulkd I hold the gas can in for? Thanks

Make sure the can is upside down when filling, shake it well before using it, around 10 seconds or so but you'll know when gas escapes when filling it. I'd say you were not filling correctly. These guns are generally quite reliable.

Honestly get that chrono'd green gas ramps up the FPS something unreal along with adjusting the bolt. I always used 134a (144a) with mine.
