If you are planning on buying something like a Pandora bracelet on the likes of Adverts, what should you look out for to make sure it's not a 'fake'? I've seen some fantastiic copies that look the part.

Some come in a box with black velvet & Pandora marked on it, the only Pandora boxes I have are pure white. Are these fakes then or not?

Real Pandora bracelets have the regular 925 mark for silver, AND an ALE mark which is peculiar to Pandora items. Ask for a close up pic of the marks. Also check each charm on the bracelet (if it's a charm bracelet) against the ones available on the Pandora website - there are loads of fakes out there!
One of my Pandora boxes has black velvet on the inside and is definitely genuine. I've never seen a genuine Pandora box that's black on the outside.
Can you PM me the link to the item on Adverts please? I promise not to bid (I already have enough Pandora stuff to last me a lifetime!) but would like to have a look.
