Chain coming off when in the small ring and the 26(lowest gear),
wat is the likely problem? Comes of the chainring.

Probably best to ask a mod to move your thread to here from the adverts forum rather than starting a second one here. Anyway, here is my reply in that other thread in case they decide to just delete that thread:

Only way to be sure if it's the chain is to actually measure its degree of wear using a ruler or a measuring tape. Measure from one pin to another pin 24 links away - it should be around 12", if it measures between 12 1/16" and 12 1/8" then replace the chain, if it is >= 12 1/8" then replace the chain and cassette. Lots of info here and here.

    A few possibilities.

    1. Your front derailleur is set wrong so that when it moves the chain onto the smaller chaining it's actually pushing it too far so it goes off the other side

    2. The chain is too long and needs a link taken out of it.

    3. The tension screw on the rear derailleur needs to be tightened so that it keeps the chain tight.

Ok, I'll have a look at these things. The shifting and all had been fine until during the week I used a different wheel with a different cassette on it, and then when I went back to the other wheel and cassette the problem occured
