I have a Galaxy S3 and ever since that recent update to 4.3?, the Wifi is useless. I can be sitting next to the router and it will say "Your connection is unstable". Very irritating and it's seems to be the same on my Note 2 as well... Is there any way to sort this before I throw the phone out the window? It's not the…

It's not the internet either as laptops and other tablets etc. work perfectly.

It's a known issue with 4.3. No fix yet I know of.
You can root and run custom until a fix is sent out.
