    Hello,

Re: Tube/Valve effects and pre-amp equipment etc

I'm interested in other musicians opinion regards this topic
    And helpful information

I recently reviewed a valve F/x unit with 18 volt power unit

Any advice and info from owners of such equipment is welcome

    Question the pro's & con's etc

    Hello,

    Regards 1st post

    Plainly speaking:

This is a question to Musician's & Co in general,
Who use & own tube/valve equipment in general

In particular tube/valve effects units and pre-amps in general

    E.g. Blackstar units with 12ax7 , powered by 18volt

    Comment & Debate is welcome

    Hello,

    Thank you for the query.

I've sourced the answer else were.

The pedal is not 18 volt Dc

    Answer:
The newer pedals have been changed to a 22 volt DC supply 1.1 m/a.
The older an HT "tube" pedals are powered 16 volt dc.

    End

Seemingly, the OP wanted information about the input voltage for a Blackstar tube based pedal, similar to this one I'm guessing http://www.thomann.de/ie/blackstar_ht_dual.htm
