Flat Brew

    Hi All,
I've been making homebrew now for 3 years with no problems using a Coopers kit. Every batch turns out fine....except the last one. Every bottle i opened was flat and when i turned the cap there wasn't even the slightest release of gas ??. This was the first ever brew on which i used a brew belt to help keep the temp constant....could that have caused the flat beer or might it be something else.

    Thanks,
    Jen

It's not likely to be anything to do with the main fermentation. Wonky bottle caps are the most likely culprit, I'd say. What did you prime with?

I usually use a teaspoon full of brown sugar

Honestly did nothing different this time. Think i'll just put it down to 'one of those things'.
    Cheers
