    Hi Guys,

As per the title, I'm looking for a road bike for a friend of mine who has about €500 to spend. He doesn't qualify for the bike to work scheme so looking for a decent quality road bike (not hybrid). Obviously there are plenty of options on adverts and donedeal but I thought he might get something a bit more interesting on here. Doesn't have to be an out and out race bike, sportive geo would suit too.

Let me know what you've got, thanks :)

    Hey Autophile

I've a 56cm 2007 Isaac Pascal with Ultegra 6600 10speed which I'd consider parting with for €600. It's a carbon frame with carbon/alloy fork. Full Ultegra brakes shifters etc., double crankeset (53-39), 105 cassette (12-25) and a set of almost new (2013) Syncros semi-aero wheels - the wheels are heavy but sturdy. She got a new chain, cassette and inner chainring this time last year - this is the first time these were replaced so mileage is not super high. Bike is clean though has a few marks from storage and, GASP!, from 1 or 2 falls. No pedals.

    PM me if you're interested.
