The people who are bombarding 2fms Facebook page with anti new schedule posts look very pathetic. These are the kind of people who would love to have Gareth o Callaghan back on the schedule. They are all saying if it ain't broke don't fix it,Well 2fm is broke, 2fm has been losing listeners hand over fist since 2004, It is running a deficit of 12 million euro. The shows that have been axed had very low listenership, Take Hector 136K, Colm and Jim jim had 170k when they got axed 3 years. ago. Marty Whelan had 180k when he got axed 7 years ago. Hectors ratings were piss poor. Next take will Leahy 111k listeners, The regional youth stations are getting more than that at that time. Radio stations have to change, if they didn't Brendan Balfe, Val Joyce and paschal Mooney would still be on 2fm.

And today a teenage girl who posted that she was looking forward to some of the new shows got bombarded with abuse from some old biddy.

    Will Leahy was truly brutal.
His most interesting part of the show was reading the RTE Guide. When you hear a DJ do that, you know he his scraping the barrel for something to say.
