Relationship hanging on one word

Got a text from my partner today that was not meant for me, she said her friend sent it as she had no credit and needed to use my partners (of 5 years) phone.

I have had some mistrust issues recently and we just about broke up but realised how close we were and stepped back.

To get to the point without revealing too much, the text contained the word "cas" as in "cause" or "because"

Is this a commonly used text word?
My partner uses this all the time!

Because of this it set me back into a shock state, a scary dark lonely empty place that I was in only weeks ago.

This text wasn't sitting easy with me at all this evening. I decided to do something I never ever seen myself doing, I went over to a place she was supposed to be 5 minutes after she left the house.... she wasn't there for an hour later.

This is driving me nuts now.

OP this is not the correct forum for your issue. This forum is strictly for those seeking S&D advice/support.

However with the minimal information you have provided I have no idea what if any forum would be more appropriate. You can try the Relationship Issues forum but as a mod there I need to tell you now that unless you provide more context anything you post there will be closed too.
