Are you entitled to claim for SWA whilst waiting for a job seekers to come through if you left employment voluntarily (i.e. 9 week rule)?

No. The idea of the disqualification is that you are without a payment for that period, including SWA.

First of all depending on why you left your employment you may not have to wait 9 weeks. If there are extenuating circumstances e.g. bullying etc then there may not be any disqualification. Also in some areas some employers for the want of a better word have a reputation and you could be paid straight away. If its a redundancy issue and you will automatically receive a 9 week disqualification then you will not receive swa as you would be means in excess.
