Teaching in South-East England

    Hey all,
I've started the application process with one of the Irish agencies who will set me up with a school in England. They lean towards the SE of England (particularly Surrey) but have been quite open to other locations. They have asked if I have any preferences as to where I go or if I have particular schools in mind.

My question for you lovely people is this - any recommendations? (places to live, secondary schools in which to teach?) I'm starting from scratch with this so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, particularly from anyone who has gone down this route already!

My main subject is English, so I should have decent options as to location (Also geography). ANY suggestions welcome!
