How much to replace ball joints on both sides of a 2003 e200?

    Title says it all really. Parents have one and have been quoted 450 for this which seems like a mad price to me.

    Am I right?

    there are 2 types of wishbone for these cars...some you could replace just the ball joint some you had to replace the whole wishbone...first you are going to have to find out which you have.

    you can sort of see it in this photo http://www.gsfcarparts.ie/422me0431 some you can unbolt the ball joints...but others the ball joint is inside the folded metal wishbone and can not be unbolted...and heres a photo of the ball joint http://www.gsfcarparts.ie/424me0181
