I've a 1999 VW Golf GTI and need to replace the rear coil springs. Are these different to the standard mk4 springs?

    Thanks

Yes the would be slightly shorter and have a different compression rate, if you fitted standard ones the car would sit higher at the rear, chances are even with new correct springs the rear might sit slighter higher as the front springs will be tired.

    Should be too expensive anyway.
