In Soll earlier this year, one of the guys got the main gondola up late one afternoon and said it was free after 3pm?

Mayrhofen is coming up in a couple of weeks and we arrive early in the morning so was considering going up and get a couple of runs in. Although another lift is required after getting the gondola.

Unless you get the Ahorn gondola and take the long red back to the village!!

You could pick up a 1/2 day pass

This what we did last time we were in mayrhofen. Arrived in resort around midday so managed to be on the slopes for 1:30. Few runs in to settle the legs, stopped off in the igloo bar for some gluwein, win win all round. Day zero is the way to go if you can squeeze it in.
