glass bottle help

Hi All
I am looking for some information on a glass bottle-see attached pics. The inscription reads 'Keiths Irish Mineral Waters Ltd Dublin' and there is a stamp on the base with the number 493 underneath. Have reached a dead end with my own research-am looking for a date and brief history of the Company. I thought that the Keiths in question may be related to that lemonade of my youth TK/Taylor Keith? Any help/advice gratefully received.

I thought there had to be a connection alright. I was looking for a date as I found a number of glass bottles dumped together and they are very interesting but couldn't pin down a date really-thought maybe turn of 20th century. So thanks a million shanew. Delighted with that.

johnny doyle-absolutely brilliant finds thanks a million. much appreciated. the lorry had a very glamorous life after it finished in the factory.

might be worthwhile contacting the museum to see if they have any paperwork relating to TK as a result of having the lorry.

@ johnny_doyle -many thanks once again. I had checked the excavations database but the Garda magazine was a complete revelation in more senses than one. My grandfather and many of his friends and colleagues are mentioned, one of which was Mick Smyth. He and his family lived next door to my grandparents and his daughter and my mother have been friends for over 70 years now. So if it's ok with you, I might print it out and send it on to them as I'm sure they would be delighted to see it. Amazing what one glass bottle and boards.ie can do.

On the subject of old glass bottles can anybody shed light on an old bottle
From Cherry brothers new ross I found last year out for a walk? It's intact
And the size of a small ale bottle and brown in colour,how old would it be?

Cherry Brothers appear to have had a number of breweries in the Waterford/New Ross area from the early 1800's.

John F Kennedy's forebear had been a cooper at the Cherry Brothers Creywell Brewery in New Ross when he emigrated to the US.
