Change of GP + Physio query

    Hi,

    I have a two part question.

    How easy is it to change GPs for your medical card. I literally just had it approved but since then I have discovered that there is a GP 2 mins from my house which would be much more convenient for me.

    Also, I will need to visit a physio and I understand that I need to first see my doctor and then get a referral to a physio in order to get it free under the medical card. What I'm wondering is can I ask for a referral to a specific physio or will they send me to a pre-designated physio and if so should I expect a long waiting list for this?

    Call into the GP and ask to change to them,there is a form they will give you fill it in and post it to the dept(the address is on the form).
