Hi guys, I'm a noob at this and trying to put together a decent build for around less than €700. Trouble is, I'm in Korea so prices is a bit whack. All prices are from danawa.com, and in Korean won.

My main purpose is to play video games (such as Skyrim, Streetfighter, King of Fighters, Call of Duty), watch movies, web surfing and use MS Word.

I have a monitor, and I will source an English version of Windows 7 here.

Intel i5 4670K (하스웰) (벌크) 개수 증가 감소 268,870
    Main board ASRock Z87 Pro3 디앤디컴 113,850
    Memory DDR3 8G PC3-12800 Silicon Valley 77,500
    Graphics CardVTX3D R9 280X Back Plate D5 3GB 252,920
    SSD Samsung 841 Series (128GB, 벌크) 110,760
Hard Disk WD 1TB Caviar Blue WD10EZEX 58,520
    ODD Samsung Super-WriteMaster SH-224DB 17,900
    Case Coolermaster ELITE 344 39,000
    Power CORSAIR VS550 85퍼센트 Active PFC V2.31 58,000

Total 997,000 which equates to approximately €700.

I'm pretty set on the 4670k, but a little unsure of the graphics card (could I downgrade and save some cash?), the Silicon Valley brand for memory, and the case (which I have no clue about to be honest).

I completely understand on the difficulty on pricing components due to being in a different country, but any thoughts on the quality of the build would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

    from Korean website

Go to seon-in plaza (across the tracks from youngsan station and to the right of the blue building as you look across the tracks.

Prices are in man won (55 = 550,000 won).

Everything else is self evident (cpu = cpu, RAM = RAM, etc).

White boxes, built while you wait (about 30 minutes) with components as listed or as you choose (if you prefer a custom build).

Yup, I'll be checking those guys out too. But they're not trust worthy, and have a bad reputation here in Korea.

are you going to be overclocking?

also what size and resolution monitor are you going to be using

I have an LG 23ea63 IPS cinema screen monitor (which I think is 1920x1080p and 23").

No immediate plans to overclock but may want to do so in future when more powerful games are released.

Can anyone give any comments about this card? Graphics CardVTX3D R9 280X Back Plate D5 3GB

The only reviews I can find online are regarding mining, which I ave no intention of doing.

It's almost €70 cheaper than the next brand of R9 280x, and about €20 cheaper than a InnoMach3D Gtx 760.

    Thanks!
