Advice on cheap breakdown cover

We are taking the car to the UK in March, and are looking for cheap breakdown cover. Last year, we broke down over there and were told by our insurer, 123.ie that we weren't entitled to breakdown cover outside of Ireland. Does anybody know how I could get cover for a period of 2 weeks, or if this is possible.
