    Today.

    Anyone else getting this?

Is it anything to do with the Winter Olympics?
They blocked the entire 2 weeks of 2012.

Non live sport is fine, but not now! Blocked for two weeks? that's ridiculous

Yup.... Seen on their twitter feed.

Blocked for the duration of Sochi.

Games close on the 23rd of Feb.

The UK reunification campaign starts here!!

Or change your DNS numbers to access 5 Live while the Olympics are on.

Easy to just listen via Satellite if you have one :)

Can that be done on an Android?

Media Hint is your friend if you listen through your PC or laptop.

Haven't found a (free) solution for Android though.

    @ Kalyke

For Android (Tunein) I simply add a UK VPN. Setup here.

Use something like bestukvpn.com for valid username/password. Note, this expires every few hours.

Lads, change your DNS to those of http://tunlr.net to access BBC content. Tunlr is free and works on a variety of geoblocked content. Legal, too.

Use SETDns on Android from the Play Store. It might be worth paying the quid and getting the full version which lasts longer than 48 hours.

I was wondering why I couldn't connect - Tunein on the iphone or their live streams on my work PC were blocked. I was looking for Kermode and Mayo and not the sports programmes

    Edit - http://iplayerhelp.external.bbc.co.uk/help/announcements/radio5live_winteroly_2014
Apparently, as they *might* cut over to Sochi at any time during the day, they've blocked the stream from the early morning to late evening.
