R&G Week Hoodies
R&G Week 2014 hoodies are on sale from the Print Shop in the Student Centre. Zips can be bought for €25 and pullovers for €20 in a wide range of colours. The Print Shop is open from 9 – 5 Monday to Thursday and from 9 – 3.30 Fridays.


Tramps Ball This year’s Tramps Ball (Fancy Dress) is taking place in the Savoy on Thursday of R&G Week. It is the biggest fundraising event of the week. Tickets will be on sale from the Print Shop in the Student Centre. There will be prizes for best dressed in each category, best sports costume etc.

Kartmania Kartmania are running a Fundraiser this R&G week. 10 teams of 3 people racing over 2.5 hours. Its €25pp with €10 of it going to charity. There will be a trophy for the winning team. You can sign up at the Kartmania stand on Mon(17th) + Tues(18th) of R&G week. The race will be on Wednesday(19th) starting at 3:30pm. Support your charities and get involved.

General Sign Up Desk for all R&G Week Events For the first time we will have a general sign up desk for all events outside the Boole Library. Here you can buy wristbands, donate to the charities or sign up to events.

Bernard O’ Shea Republic of Telly star Bernard O’ Shea will be performing on Wednesday at 4pm in the Student Centre hall. Tickets (€5) are going on sale this Thursday 13th from the Print Shop in the Student Centre. .

Aula Maxima Relax and Give in the Aula Maxima. It is this year’s alcohol free venue with games, gallery and gigs throughout the Week.

Comedy Hypnotist Comedy Hypnotist Michael McCoy will be performing on Thursday of R&G Week in the Student Centre hall at 1pm. Tickets will be on available on the door.

"Friend of UCC students, Daniel Mulcahy has been missing since the early hours of Sunday morning the 9th February 2014. He was last seen leaving his house in Blackpool Cork, heading towards Cork City Centre at approx 4am. He was wearing a wine jumper, grey hoody and dark jeans. International Cultures Week
Soccer Tournament
A 5-a-side World Cup style tournament is being organised for International Cultures Week 2014 (with CIT, and Cork English Language Schools). Teams can range in size from 5 - 8 people (up to 3 subs) and entry is €20 per team which is used for pitch rental, prizes, etc. Teams should be made up of at least 50%+ International Students and registration closes on Tuesday 18th February. As part of International Cultures Week, we are running a big Cultures night in UCC and we're looking for participants!
