    Hi,

I would be very grateful if someone could help me out here...
We have a house ipad that my son likes to play Minecraft, Angry Birds etc on. He is currently saving up for his own tablet for his birthday & we will make up the difference.
We can't really afford another ipad so what is the next best thing? I am looking at the Samsung Galaxy tablet and it looks good, but if anyone has any opinion I could do with some help :-)
We would be looking to spend less than 200 euros. Would his apps be playable on the new tablet or are many Apple-specific? Maybe this is a silly question but if we bought Minecraft for the new tablet would he be able transfer what he has done so far on the ipad onto it?

    Thanks so much!

I realise this thread is old but hopefully I can help, I would personally recommend a Nexus 7 which can be gotten for around €250, it has a 1080p+ display, Android 4.4 KitKat and can meet all the requirements you mentioned.

If money is really tight you could go about getting the 2012 Nexus 7 which can be gotten for a lot cheaper than the 2012 version and can do much of the same things only it doesn't have a back facing camera and a 720p screen.

    Hope this helps.
