You can post here to double check. I can usually tell if its fake by the website name alone.

    usually obvious nonsense like
    www.uggboots-dublin.net
    www.rayban-ireland.to

There is only 1 single instance I can recall where someone asked if a site was dodgy and it turned out to be legit, this was www.converse.ie

I emailed converse in the US and UK and even one of them said it was fake! think the UK guys said they were legit and dealt with them.

all seems to e good info.
i had seen the fake uggs/sunglasses etc on local fb pages 90% off.
not that i would but if i bought a pair of sunglasses in a shop/online for 100e i wouldnt have a clue if i got a pair 10e cheapy ones with a sticker

i remember bmw had a case again a chinese company who made more or less a exact copy off the x5
another making exact copys of expensive guitars

makes you think about what your buy at all.

There would be some retailers out there that offer both types .
Its a bit like buying branded tablets in your local Pharmacy and generic ones .

Just because its made in China , does not mean it is a knock-off.

Look at any make-up / perfumes ............made in China , but the reason some are considered a knock-off is because if you buy direct , they are not endorsed by the branded importer into Ireland .

Germany are now using China to manufacture their branded Mercedes car.

This car will not be considered a copy , because it will be endorsed and franchised by Mercedes .

Fools and their money are easily parted , so I would suggest you shop around before paying €100 for a pair of original branded sunglasses , as you can buy an exact pair in some online outlets for less than half that price .

I know some western companies have Chinese factories. Like Ray Ban has a chinese factory but you know think they make everything in Italy but they dont.

This is probably the most interesting case of thinking something was fact

But if something seems to good to be true. It probably is too good to be true
