Im in my early twentys, single and living with parents. Im drawing credits from the social welfare office for a year and a half now and have 3 questions.

    1) What are credits? what are are they for?

2)Last week i started a new job as a laborer i will be earning less than 8,000 a year, do i need to inform the social welfare office?

I dont think ill be paying any tax cos im only getting 8000 a year and the company pay my wages directly into my bank account.

    3) Can i get away without saying anything about my employment status changing to the social welfare office?

You need to let sw know that you are working. While you are working your credit claim will be closed as your employer will be paying credited contributions for you.

If you don't tell the SW office you are working you are breaking the law..
If your employer doesn't give you payslips which show he is making the correct deductions from your wages then he is breaking the law.
That would make you both criminals.

Not a forum to ask if it's ok to commit SW fraud. Please read the charter.
