    More info needed...

    like what Android Box?

are other devices, lap-tops, tablets, phones, able to connect to your router and do they have connectivity?

have you only updated to JB recently?

is it a custom or stock ROM?

did you have a backup made, like a Nandroid, if rooted, which you could restore if you have a custom recovery?

have you cleared your cache, either by an App like Cache Cleaner, or from Recovery (wipe cache partition)....

I don't know your device so can't say how to get recovery. There is usually a button combo to do this.

    Does Mobile Data [3G] work?

if so, you could download something like Quick Boot, or other reboot app, all of which needs you to be rooted.

Failing all, you could Factory Data reset your device, which will wipe everything on the phone, and restore you to how it was on day 1.....(if you have an external SD card, with media, like video, music or pictures, you should remove it before reset, just to be safe, but AFAIK, the external card is not wiped by a Factory reset.)

you will be able to restore Apps from Play, if you got them there, or if not, you should have the apk's still of those apps not acquired from Play.

Did it start after you updated to 4.3?

Sorted it. After reading other peoples problems online, messing with the router changing settings. I went with a Hail Mary and and put the password in capitals and it worked. ???? All other devices work the opposite:rolleyes:

I am having a similar problem with one of my Android devices. Wifi connects and then it disconnects within a minute. All other wifi devices are working fine except for this.

If I switch off the wifi on the android device and switch it on it will connect again but then again in couple of minutes it disconnects.

Not sure what the problem is. I have restored the device as well once. That didn't solve the problem.

The password for my wifi router is already in caps.

Oh... and it's one of the horizon boxes. Not sure if that is the source of the issue.

Not much help I know, but my son has one of those Horizon boxes, and neither my phone or my tablet can access Google Apps, like Play, G+ and Gmail, even though WiFi is working, browser access to the Google services is OK, using Hotspot Shield allows the GApps to work, and Mobile Data GApps are also OK.

    I find this very weird.....???

Hi, Wifi authentication problem is very common among android and ios. I would suggest you to try some of these fixes to solve this problem.
    1. Reset your Android Wi-Fi connection
    2. Verify the wireless network name for duplicates
    3. Modify the wireless network configuration
    4. Give the old Airplane mode a try
    5. Perform Network settings reset on Android
    6. Make sure your device software is up to date
    7. Factory reset your Android device
I hope one of these points will help to fix the wifi problem.
