Joint deposit on apartment

    myself and my ex boyfriend took out a lease on an apartment and since then he kicked me out because he cheated on me (hilarious I know) But anyway I paid the deposit on the apartment and the receipt is in my name. Now that the contract is coming to an end next month I am wondering will I be entitled to the full 400 or only 200 because the contract was signed by both of us.

    Please help tell me my rights with regard to this thanks
